WE Charity: “They’re Relying on Donors Not Asking Questions…”

“It looks to be an active strategy to raise a lot of money, and then they’re relying on donors not asking questions in order to continue to operate this way. And it’s just wrong,” says CharityWatch Executive Director, Laurie Styron, after reviewing leaked documents provided by a former WE Charity employee to journalists at the CBC program, The Fifth Estate. 

“Things get investigated when the public demands it. If you want to know what happened to those schools? You want to know what happened to that money? Demand it,” said Styron.
